Check out this video from the Khan Academy to help you multiply.

After you've watched the video, head over to the Khan Academy and do the practise exercise in your grid book.

Multiplication Activities
Complete the following activities in your maths grid book. Make sure you show all of your working out.
Activity 1 - Solving multiplication algorithms
Activity 2 - Multiplication by 2 digit numbers
Activity 3 - Multiplication by multiples of 10
Activity 4 - Extension

Now, create your own lesson using Explain Everything or Edu Creations, showing how to solve a multiplication problem (using both an algorithm and a strategy of your choice).

Division Activities

Complete the following activities in your maths grid book. Make sure you set your work out neatly and always show all of your working out.

Activity 1 Solving Division Algorithms - for each question solve the algorithm AND show another strategy.
Activity 2 - Showing the remainder as a decimal - solve using an algorithm AND write a word problem for each question.

Activity 3 Multiplying & Dividing with decimals - read the instructions carefully!

Now head over to the Khan Academy and complete these long division questions in your grid book.
