Week 9 Reflection
It's been a great week! We've been busy learning about measurement in Maths and completed our weather task. This week we also farewell Miss F, our student teacher. Thanks for all of your hard work over the past 3 weeks, we hope you enjoyed teaching us!
'3 weeks have gone so fast and it is time for Miss F to go back to University :( I have had an awesome time in 6A learning all about Antarctica, making dream catchers during Harmony Day, estimating, measuring and converting lengths and working our way through the Weather Task! I am very sad to leave but maybe I will be back one day! I hope you all have a fantastic rest of the year with Miss Affleck!' - Miss F

Baleen & Toothed Whales!
We worked in inquiry groups to research the similarities and differences between toothed and baleen whales. We used Notability to organise our research and presented our findings in a range of ways using Art Set, iMovie, Pic Collage, Explain Everything and Visualize. Here's a snapshot of what we came up with!

Week 8 Reflection
We've had a fantastic week - the highlight was definitely Harmony Day!
We were lucky enough to be involved in a range of activities including craft, cooking, art, martial arts, and dancing! We also got to listen to Cartsen and Mrs O'Keefe give us an insight into what it was like growing up in Germany and Russia. It's amazing how different school can be in different countries!
Thanks to Miss Hassell for organising such an amazing event!
